Sleepytime Tart Cherry Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup tart cherry juice (rich in natural melatonin)

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 1 chamomile tea bag (calming + anti-inflammatory)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (regulates blood sugar for steady sleep)

  • 1/2 tsp raw honey (a natural source of tryptophan)

  • 1 slice fresh ginger (aids digestion + relaxation)

  • A pinch of nutmeg (mild sedative effect)

Instructions:

  1. Steep the chamomile tea bag in hot water for 5 minutes.

  2. Warm the tart cherry juice gently (don’t boil!).

  3. Combine the tea and cherry juice in a mug.

  4. Stir in cinnamon, honey, ginger, and nutmeg.

  5. Sip 30–60 minutes before bed for deep, restorative sleep.

Bonus Tip: For an extra magnesium boost, add a teaspoon of almond butter on the side or blend it into a warm latte version!
